Jason’s love for this industry came from watching and working with his dad over the years. After graduating from West Chester University with a B.S. in Business Management, he knew he wanted to help elevate his father’s businesses to new heights.
As co-owner of embee & son, inc., Jason has achieved this goal and then some. With 20+ years experience, Jason’s favorite part of his job is working with the people. He takes the time to personally listen to their needs, help interpret those needs into a design and then he sees it through to completion. Jason adds the personal touch that most other businesses of this kind overlook.
One of Jason’s favorite designs was a new construction on a master bathroom in the summer of 2019. He loved the new look that they came up with. The finished project gave the bathroom a Penthouse Suite feel in a home right here in York.
Jason loves spending time with his family. His wife Whitney, daughter Grayson and son Maxwell tend to keep him on his toes. In his spare time, you may find Jason hanging with his dog Mission, sipping on a craft brew IPA, eating good food and supporting the family sprint car at a dirt track nearby.
We welcomed Vicki to the embee family on January 31, 2011.

To say Vicki has an “eye” for design is putting it mildly! Vicki has many talents, one being able to listen to and understand the style you are envisioning and bring it to life in front of you!
Vicki has demonstrated her wide scope of this industry while participating in events such as: The York County Decorator Showhouse, York County Parade of Homes, York Builders Association Home and Garden Show, and she has produced several seminars through local school districts on kitchen design, color theory, faux finishing and home decorating!
One of Vicki’s favorite work memories is helping a client plot, design and plan their home from the very conception all the way through to selecting their finishes and furnishings! She is one talented designer!
Vicki has been married to her husband Randy for 6 years. She has two amazing sons who provided her with endless smiles and memories. Now she gets to make new memories with her twin granddaughters. When Vicki has a rare moment off work she enjoys refinishing furniture, horseback riding and road trips on their motorcycle.

Patrick Allen Helf
We were so fortunate to add Patrick to the embee & son, inc. family in March of 2010.
Patrick is our in-house flooring specialist. As a West York High School Graduate of 1973, Pat brings 46+ years experience with him. Patrick is in charge of floor covering estimation/sales and bathroom & kitchen backsplash/ceramic tile design.
Patrick has an ease about him that instantly relaxes his customers. He prides himself on delivering a personal touch that always provides his clients with the service they deserve. His favorite design over the years was a grout-less glass mosaic and stacked stone combination kitchen backsplash. It was a unique design that highlighted textures that aren’t usually paired together.
Patrick has a tremendous love for his family. Both Patrick’s son and daughter manage businesses in the Lancaster and York areas. His wife Joyce recently retired and when they aren’t camping, they can be found spending time with their two grandchildren. Patrick has many hidden talents, some include creating handmade wooden toys for children and solving puzzles.
